Future Planning
It has been Planned to open 6 M.T.Y Mega O.C.P Covering the whole area of NT-ST and Jeenagora OCP. The Project report of above mega OCP has been prepared by CMPDIL and it is on the verge of being approved. In the draft report the IRR envisaged a targeted capacity of 6 M.T.Y in two variants.
Variant – I with departmental HEMM
Variant – II Contractually
The proposed method of mining is conventional that is Shovel- Dumper Combination. The CMPDIL has recommended for the implementation of variant – II because IRR at 85 % Capacity utilisation is 78.34 % in Comparision to 17.11 % in variant – I.
A Mega U/G Mine of 1 M.T.Y has also been planned by mechanised method covering the area of Lodna, NTC and some part of Joyrampur.
